About Us

We are a group of veterans who live in Canyon Texas trying to help out fellow veterans and our community.  We are a newly formed post, and we are still building up our programs.

We are named after Darren Tate.  Darren joined the Navy in 2006.  He volunteered to go to Afghanistan for a friend who’s wife was pregnant.  Darren got sick while stationed in Afghanistan and lost his life from pneumonia at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan.
